The Belgian Maxim Van Gils (Lotto Dstny) wins ahead of Aranburu (Moviestar Team) and Sheehan (Israel - Premier Tech). Local hero John Degenkolb was crowned king of the mountain.

Dutchman Wessel Mouris (Metec-Solarwatt Cyclingteam) winns the U23 race as part of the cycling classic.

Route

The ADAC Velotour as part of the Eschborn-Frankfurt cycling classic will also be held on three routes in 2025: ADAC Velotour Taunus Classic (approx. 103 km), ADAC Velotour Taunus Express (approx. 92 km) and ADAC Velotour Skyline (approx. 40 km).

ADAC Velotour Taunus Classic - 103 km

The long ADAC Velotour Taunus Classic route has everything a cyclist's heart desires. 1,550 meters of elevation gain, 103 kilometers and legendary climbs such as Feldberg, Kittelhütte and Mammolshainer Stich - and all on exactly the same route that the pros will take at the Radklassiker.

ADAC Velotour Taunus Express - 92 km

The ADAC Velotour Taunus Express offers almost 1350 meters of elevation gain over 92 kilometers and, with the exception of the Mammolshainer Stich, has all the important climbs of the Eschborn-Frankfurt cycling classic, which also really challenge the pros.

ADAC Velotour Skyline - 40 km

As the name suggests, the ADAC Velotour Skyline takes you from skyline to skyline. 40 almost flat kilometers between Eschborn and Frankfurt and an impressive city tour through Frankfurt's urban canyons, the Taunus municipality of Oberursel and the beautiful Vordertaunus.
